Brenmar successfully secured a challenging £600k project that required careful handling of furniture and equipment. Per the tender specifications, any items not designated for relocation by the client had to be responsibly recycled.
In navigating this task, Brenmar diligently determined the most suitable methods for removal and recycling of each element, prioritizing local resources to minimize carbon footprint. Despite the aged condition of much of the furniture and equipment, unsuitable for the UK market, Brenmar facilitated the shipping of the surplus assets in five large 40-foot containers to Tanzania and Ghana, where there is significant demand for such office furnishings.
Collaborating with ROS, Brenmar also contributed to charitable endeavors, supporting Abby’s Heroes, a charity aiding children and teenagers with cancer, and a Hampshire-based organization focused on environmental cleanup through educational and community initiatives.
