When our client, a leading IT company, needed to vacate the second floor of one of the buildings that comprise its UK headquarters, Brenmar became principal contractor – not only to prepare the space to hand back to the landlord, but also to adapt other areas so staff could relocate with minimum disruption.
A significant part of the 52-week, £2.3 million operation was co-ordinating work to fit around the business’ operations.
This required effective planning, as well as cooperation between client and project team, flexible working arrangements and out of hours activity to minimise noise and other disruptions.
Brenmar was involved in all aspects of the project, from constructing new walls to relocating furniture – and moving staff effects and desktop IT equipment.
The restructure was delivered on time and within budget, and the second floor was handed back to the landlord under the terms of the lease.
