Brenmar has successfully completed an ambitious project to fit out a new riverside café at a bustling local marina. This unique venue blends style with practicality, offering a relaxed environment geared toward all types of diners. We had to carefully follow the unconventional design that required embracing a rustic marine life theme.

The café has modern underfloor heating installed throughout, promoting comfort year-round. The variety of zones within a restaurant plays a pivotal role in unique culinary experiences tailored to diverse dining preferences. Brenmar constructed all partition walls, five unisex toilets featuring bespoke wall murals, and built a staff office along with ample storage spaces.

The interior decoration is a testament to the thoughtful selection of diverse materials and textures, contributing to a warm and welcoming ambiance. Handcrafted furniture, custom-built bars and counters enhance the café’s distinct character. The thoughtful use of tiles, recycled bricks, cork, and timbers - such as oak floor panels and timber cladding - sets a stunning backdrop complemented by unique fixtures, including captivating lobster cage ceiling lampshades that create an intriguing play of shadow and light. Expansive floor-to-ceiling windows frame beautiful views of the marina, bringing the outside in.

Brenmar also provided a full installation of electrical and mechanical services. A spacious loft area was prepared for the boiler and plant room, ensuring efficient operations. At the heart of the café lies an ultra-modern stainless steel kitchen, featuring a new pizza oven and charcoal grill equipped with a versatile ventilation system.

The result represents nothing short of breathtaking - a curated escape for the community that has already become a new favourite for dining and events, all completed by us while adhering to stringent deadlines and high expectations. Brenmar has crafted a café that not only serves food but also embodies a sense of class and sincerity, enriching the marina’s vibrant atmosphere.
