Case studiesGlazing Replacement of a Building of Outstanding Architecture
Brenmar was elected as the principal contractor for a major glazing replacement job near Winchester.
Our client, a leading Blue-Chip Company, entrusted us with the refurbishment of a facility that has been instrumental in their development and heritage. Some parts of the site are also recognised as a Building of Outstanding Architecture.
The objective of the project was to replace the defective and worn-down glazing in various parts of the site. This included the replacement of all glass and spandrel panels within these areas, together with the associated external or internal gasketing and cover plate details. A further goal was to improve the detailing around the existing glazing and restore the external façade within the localised areas.
Although out of Brenmar’s usual scope of interior refurbishments, we handled with ease this 4-million-pound project.
