Case studiesCreating a vibrant hub for a multinational IT company
Brenmar converted existing office and lab space into a new, vibrant Touchdown Hub and breakout area, for an IT company’s design and development centre near Winchester.
The £450,000 project was designed to inspire creativity and innovation and was implemented over 21 weeks with minimal impact to day-to-day life at the site.
We stripped out the existing laboratories and office, including ceiling, partition and lighting, to create an open plan area.
We created a glazed corridor, and installed lighting, HVAC and data connectivity to all areas.
For the Touchdown area we created cubicles for informal meetings, bespoke furniture for seating, tables and shelving. Bespoke joinery was also required for creating a games area with a raised floor to accommodate machines, and to create a kitchenette.
The project involved close levels of collaboration with our partners, and the vibrant facility has been quickly utilised by the client’s employees.
